The Mountain View Restaurant
Named after the stunning view of Coniston Old Man that guests can enjoy while dining, this has to be one of the best places to eat in the Lakes! Our restaurant can cater for up to 60 guests so is an excellent venue for functions, parties or wedding receptions.
Dinner
A 3 course evening meal is available every day from 18.00-20.45hrs. Making the most of seasonal and including a variety of local produce, the menu is changed on a regular basis.

The Lounge Bar
A visit to our welcoming lounge bar is a must if you want to taste the famous local Bluebird Ale and, of course, there’s draft lager and bitter, a selection of red, white and rosé wines, Champagne and a wide selection of soft drinks.

Hot food is available in the Lounge Bar daily from 12.00-14.30hrs and from 18.00-20.45hrs. You can choose from a range of starters, main courses and desserts with the locally sourced Cumbrian sausage, fish & chips and sausage & mash being firm favourites.
Alternatively we offer a variety of lighter snacks. Or, if you just fancy a sandwich, these are available between 12.00-14.30hrs.
Afternoon tea, including a selection of sandwiches, cream cakes and scones with cream, jam and strawberries, plus the essential holiday experience, a cream tea with a choice of tea or coffee, are also available from 14.30-17.00hrs. Or, if you’re just passing through, why not pop in for a welcome cuppa!

Room Service
We understand that sometimes you just want to relax over a meal in your room so we're happy to provide you with that option for £5. You can pre-order breakfast via Reception on the evening before to be delivered to your room from 08.00-09.30hrs. A selection of hot dishes are available from 12.00-14.30hrs while dinner and lounge bar meals can be delivered from 18.00-20.45hrs. And, if you're feeling peckish, then you may want to order from our sandwich range, available from 12.00-17.00hrs, or spoil yourself with a cream tea, available from 14.30-17.00hrs, or both!

Our garden runs right down to the edge of beautiful Coniston Water and you can’t help but notice the views of the surrounding fells and the spectacular Coniston Old Man mountain. So, when weather permits, what better place to take in the fresh air and a snack or afternoon tea!
