Abbot Hall Art Gallery & Museum of Lakeland Life
This gallery has a very fine collection of modern British art and the museum is a recreated farmhouse where the rooms are full of real objects that tell the story of how Lakeland people have lived and worked over the past 200 years.
Unique collection of over 30,000 motoring exhibits including The Campbell Bluebird Exhibition.
This museum is devoted to Laurel and Hardy with a variety of memorabilia including personal items, letters, photographs and furniture. There is also a small cinema showing films and documentaries all day.
